After purchase you get two links by email: your management link and the link for the recipient. Available until 24 December; the calendar stays online until 31.01.2027 and is then deleted with all content.
You start from a template set and make it your own. There are sets for your partner, for kids, for grandparents, for coworkers, for football fans and for friends. Every door stays editable: write your own message, create a voucher card or pick a pixel animation that shows the recipient's name. The animations and sayings come from our own collection, drawn in pixel style and featuring the pinnry characters. The result is a calendar that sounds like the person you are giving it to.
For the calendar picture you choose one of four pixel-style themes: Winter Forest, Fireside Room, Stadium in the Snow or Starry Night. You add the recipient's name and your own name as the sender. The fixed texts on the recipient's page, such as buttons and hints, can be set to one of 17 languages, including English, German, French, Spanish and Polish. The editor itself is available in English and German. The messages inside the doors are yours, so you write them in whatever language you share.
The basic version for €4.99 includes messages, vouchers, pixel animations and sayings. Plus for €9.99 also lets you upload your own photos and short videos of up to 30 seconds. Both are a one-time payment, there is no subscription. Before you pay, you can open a free preview. It carries a watermark, needs no checkout and lasts 24 hours. The preview is for trying things out and cannot be given as a gift.
After checkout you get two links: one for the recipient and a separate management link that we send to you by email. You pass the recipient link on by messenger or email. In the management view you can see which doors have been opened and which vouchers have been redeemed. Doors that are still closed can be changed. A test view lets you look at all 24 doors in advance, exactly as they will appear.

How much does the online advent calendar cost?
The basic version is €4.99 and Plus with your own photos and videos is €9.99. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription.
Do I have to fill all 24 doors myself?
No. A template set gives you a filled calendar straight away, and you only change what you want to.
What can a door contain?
A message, a voucher card the recipient can redeem, a pixel animation with their name or a saying from our collection. With Plus you can add your own photos and videos of up to 30 seconds.
When does each door open?
One door opens each day from 1 to 24 December at midnight German time (Europe/Berlin). If the recipient lives in another time zone, the door opens at the local time that matches midnight in Berlin.
Does the recipient need an app?
No. The calendar opens from the link in a browser on a phone or computer, and no account is needed.
Until when can I buy it?
Until 24 December. If you give it after 1 December, all doors up to the current day are open right away.
How do you handle photos and videos?
Location data (EXIF) is removed from photos and photos are resized. The calendar pages are not listed in search engines, and there is a report button for inappropriate content.
How long does the calendar stay online?
Until 31 January 2027. After that it is deleted automatically, including all photos and videos.
Which languages are available?
The fixed texts on the recipient page come in 17 languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Czech, Turkish, Hungarian, Romanian and Croatian. The editor is available in English and German.
Which time zone do the doors follow?
German time. Each door opens at midnight in Berlin (Europe/Berlin), so for a recipient in London that is 11 pm the evening before, and in New York 6 pm.
What if I give it after 1 December?
All doors up to the current day are open right away, and the rest open day by day. You can buy until 24 December.
Is it a subscription, and can I try it first?
It is not a subscription: you pay €4.99, or €9.99 for Plus, once. Before that you can open a free preview with a watermark and without checkout, which lasts 24 hours and cannot be given as a gift.
Can I change the calendar after buying?
Yes. In your management link you can edit any door that has not been opened yet, and the test view shows you all doors in advance.
Which files can I upload?
With Plus, photos as JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC up to 15 MB and videos as MP4, MOV or WebM up to 20 MB and 30 seconds. Up to 200 MB per calendar in total.
