Print is in German.Buying for a teenager is an art, which is why the teen card promises on the front: “We kept the singing to a minimum.” Vouchers usually land better than things: a gaming night with no time limit, a movie night with nobody talking through the film, an outdoor photo shoot or a shopping trip where you carry the bags. Learner drivers-to-be can have driving practice, with zero sighing from the passenger seat.
For a 13th there's a shirt reading „13. Offiziell Teenager. Bitte anklopfen.“, officially a teenager, please knock, because new rules now apply at the bedroom door. It's printed in German and ships within Germany only. The “Official teenager” certificate grants the right to lie-ins and a reasonable amount of eye-rolling. Gamers get a fully charged new year, and for an 18th there's a certificate, a card and a party kit.
Questions and answers
What do you give a teenager who has everything?
Time on their terms: vouchers for a gaming night, a pizza night or one wish, together with a card in your own words.
Is there anything for a 13th birthday?
Yes, the “please knock” teenager shirt and the “Official teenager” certificate.
