Cancellation policy (right of withdrawal)

Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. If several goods in one order are delivered separately, the period begins on receipt of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Cards and Supplies, Armin Müller, Polarstr. 24, 95448 Bayreuth, email: armin.mueller.bayreuth@gmail.com, phone: +49 160 96439378) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or early expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if they were unsealed after delivery.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs, in particular personalised Kickoff fan merchandise (§ 312g (2) no. 1 BGB).

Special provisions for digital content (game codes)

For contracts for the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium (game codes), your right of withdrawal expires once we have begun performing the contract after you have expressly consented to us beginning performance before the end of the withdrawal period and have confirmed your acknowledgement that by giving your consent you lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the contract begins (Section 356 (5) BGB, German Civil Code).

Performance begins as soon as we make the code available to you, i.e. with its display during the ordering process or in your customer account and the sending of the code email. You give your consent and acknowledgement during the ordering process by ticking a separate box; you receive confirmation of this on a durable medium with the code email. If your order also contains physical goods, your right of withdrawal for these goods remains unaffected. For purchases on eBay, the withdrawal rules there apply. Your statutory rights in respect of defects remain unaffected in all cases.

Special provisions for the friends league pack

For the friends league pack, performance of the contract does not begin when the code is provided, as described for digital content, but only when you redeem the code in the game. Until you redeem it, you can withdraw from the contract within the 14-day withdrawal period; we will refund the purchase price and block the code. When you redeem the code, your right of withdrawal expires because the service (your own friends league) is then provided immediately. Your statutory rights in respect of defects remain unaffected.

Special provisions for Ink

For topping up Ink (credit), the right of withdrawal of 14 days from conclusion of the contract applies; in the event of withdrawal, we will refund the amount for purchased Ink that has not yet been redeemed. For Ink that has already been redeemed, the right of withdrawal expires on redemption because the service is provided immediately. You receive Bonus Ink free of charge; it is not refunded.

If you pay for digital content with Ink, the same applies to this content as with any other payment method: the right of withdrawal expires under the conditions stated above (express consent, confirmation of acknowledgement and provision). If an order paid with Ink is refunded, for example after an effective withdrawal, we refund in Ink, namely to the pots (purchased Ink, Bonus Ink) from which it was paid.

Special provisions for the Kickoff Supporter subscription

The right of withdrawal of 14 days from conclusion of the contract described above applies to the subscription. The codes provided under the subscription are digital content; to that extent, the right of withdrawal expires on provision under the conditions stated above. Pro access is an ongoing digital service: if you requested that we begin it before the end of the withdrawal period and you nevertheless withdraw, you shall pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the service provided until the withdrawal compared with the full scope of the service. You can also declare your withdrawal using the “Withdraw from contract” button; you can cancel for the future using “Cancel contracts here”.
