Calw [kalf] ist eine Mittelstadt in Baden-Württemberg, etwa 18 Kilometer südlich von Pforzheim und 33 Kilometer westlich von Stuttgart gelegen. Die Kreisstadt, zugleich die größte Stadt im Landkreis Calw, bildet ein Mittelzentrum für die umliegenden Gemeinden. Seit 1. Januar 1976 ist Calw Große Kreisstadt. Sie gehört zur Region Nordschwarzwald und zur Randzone der europäischen Metropolregion Stuttgart.
Calw (German pronunciation: ; previously pronounced and in old sources sometimes spelled Kalb accordingly; Swabian: Calb) is a town in the middle of Baden-Württemberg in the south of Germany, capital and largest town of the district Calw. It is located in the Northern Black Forest and is approximately 18 km (11 mi) south of Pforzheim and 33 km (21 mi) west of Stuttgart. It has the status of a große Kreisstadt.
