Bacharach (auch als Bacharach am Rhein bekannt) ist eine Stadt im UNESCO-Welterbe Oberes Mittelrheintal im Landkreis Mainz-Bingen in Rheinland-Pfalz. Der ursprüngliche Name Baccaracus deutet auf einen keltischen Ursprung hin. Oberhalb des Ortes erhebt sich die Burg Stahleck (heute eine Jugendherberge).
