Mellensee (bis 1930 nur Mellen, dann in Mellensee umbenannt) am gleichnamigen Mellensee gelegen, ist ein Ortsteil der amtsfreien Gemeinde Am Mellensee im Landkreis Teltow-Fläming (Brandenburg). Bis zum Zusammenschluss 2002 mit anderen benachbarten Gemeinden zur (Groß-)Gemeinde Am Mellensee war Mellensee eine Gemeinde innerhalb des damaligen Amtes Am Mellensee. Der Ortsteil bezeichnet sich touristisch als „Dorf der Fischer“.
Am Mellensee (German pronunciation:, lit. 'On the Mellen Lake') is a municipality in the Teltow-Fläming district of Brandenburg, Germany. The municipality, south of Berlin, is the home of the Benedictine Abbey of St. Gertrud.
