Sie liegt am Rheinufer (Wilhelm-Spiritus-Ufer) direkt nördlich neben dem Palais Schaumburg, dem zweiten Dienstsitz des Bundeskanzlers und Bundeskanzleramts. Das Hauptportal befindet sich an der Adenauerallee (Hausnummer 135). Die Zufahrt erfolgt über die Kaiser-Friedrich-Straße.
